Dare to Lead - courageous leadership based on the Brené Brown model

A two-day workshop training based on Brené Brown's Dare to Lead model — it teaches courage in leadership, treating vulnerability as a strength, building trust in the team (the BRAVING model), living by your values, and creating a culture of open feedback.

The best leaders are not the toughest — they have the courage to be authentic, conduct difficult conversations and build trust

After years of research on courage and vulnerability, Brené Brown debunked the myth of the tough, unshakable leader. It turned out that the most effective leaders can show vulnerability, conduct courageous conversations and build trust — and that takes more strength than hiding behind position and armor.

Dare to Lead - courageous leadership based on the Brené Brown model is a two-day workshop training by EITT. Delivered on-site or remotely, it translates Brené Brown’s concepts into practical tools: building trust with the BRAVING model, conducting courageous conversations and leading in line with your values.

Who is this training for?

For managers and leaders who want to move from leadership based on control to leadership based on trust and authenticity. Especially when:

  • You are building a culture of trust and openness in the team but lack concrete tools
  • You avoid difficult conversations and feel it weakens your leadership
  • You know leadership theory and are looking for the courage and the way to actually apply it

Two days: from courage and values to trust and feedback

Day one builds the foundation: courage, vulnerability as strength, recognizing your own armor and living by your values. Day two translates this into team practice — the BRAVING trust model, courageous conversations, rising strong and a culture of open feedback.

What will you learn during the training?

  • Understanding and applying Brené Brown’s Dare to Lead model
  • Treating vulnerability and openness as a leader’s strength
  • Building and rebuilding trust in the team (the BRAVING model)
  • Conducting difficult conversations with courage instead of avoiding them
  • Leading in line with your own values under pressure

The training is part of EITT’s managerial development path, alongside Manager Academy and the From colleague to boss - First Time Manager program.
