FRIS® Thinking Styles — Individual Diagnosis and Team Workshop
A FRIS® Thinking Styles diagnosis combined with a team workshop. Every participant completes an online questionnaire, receives an individual report and a feedback session, and the team then works on a shared map of styles: where misunderstandings come from, how to divide work, and how to turn cognitive diversity into an advantage. EITT is a certified FRIS® partner.
Not bad intentions — a different way of processing
In most teams the same misunderstandings come back year after year. One person wants the numbers first, another wants to talk it through, a third throws out a solution before anyone has described the problem, and a fourth holds the decision until the picture is complete. Each of them is convinced the others are making the work harder.
FRIS® shows that this is not about character or ill will. It is about what a person reaches for first when building an understanding of a situation. That single shift in framing usually defuses the conflict faster than any procedural agreement.
Four perspectives, four Thinking Styles
The name FRIS® is an acronym of four cognitive perspectives: Facts, Relationships, Ideas and Structures. From these come four Thinking Styles, each describing what a person turns to first when facing a new problem.
The methodology was created in Poland and continues to be developed against Polish cultural and business conditions, which distinguishes it from instruments carried over from other markets. It does not describe a personality type or a behavioural style — it describes information processing, which is what actually shows up in a conversation about a project.
How the programme runs
It begins before the workshop: each participant completes the questionnaire online, receives an individual report and works through it in a feedback session with a certified trainer. Only then does the team sit down together.
The workshop produces a map of styles across the whole team. It shows where the group’s strength lies and where the gap is — because a team made up of a single style has a predictable set of strengths and an equally predictable set of blind spots. We close with agreements: how to divide work, how to pass information to particular people, and what to return to when a disagreement arises.

Assessments, reports and feedback sessions are delivered under official licence, and the workshop is led by a certified FRIS® trainer. We write more about the methodology itself in our knowledge base, including a piece on how FRIS® thinking styles influence team collaboration.

Frequently asked questions
Can EITT administer the FRIS® assessment?
Yes. EITT is a certified FRIS® partner — assessments, reports and feedback sessions are delivered under official licence, and the workshop is led by a certified FRIS® trainer.
How does FRIS® differ from DISC, Insights Discovery or personality tests?
FRIS® does not describe a personality type or a behavioural style. It describes how a person processes information — how they read a situation and what they base a decision on. It was developed in Poland against Polish cultural and business conditions, which sets it apart from instruments translated in from other markets.
How long does the assessment itself take?
Completing the online questionnaire takes around 30 minutes and happens before the workshop. Participants receive their individual report as a PDF, and the result is worked through in the feedback session.
Can we order the diagnosis alone, without the team workshop?
Yes. We deliver both individual diagnoses with a feedback session and full team workshops. The workshop adds something the diagnosis alone cannot: a shared map of the team and concrete agreements about working together.
How many people can take part in the workshop?
Six to fourteen works best — small enough for everyone to work through their own result, large enough for all four styles to appear on the team map. Larger organisations are split into workshop groups.
Does the workshop work remotely?
Yes. The assessment happens online in any case, and we run the workshop both on site and remotely. The on-site format leaves more room for small-group conversation, but the substance is comparable.
Are results shared with the employer?
The individual report belongs to the participant. In the workshop we work on the team map only to the extent participants agree to — taking part does not mean handing your report to your manager.
Is a certificate issued?
Yes, every participant receives a personalised certificate of completion issued by EITT along with their individual FRIS® report.
