PFMEA according to AIAG & VDA – process risk analysis
The training presents the practical principles of conducting PFMEA analysis in accordance with the AIAG & VDA FMEA Handbook, 1st Edition, June 2019. Participants learn the seven-step approach to process risk analysis, covering the analysis of structure, function, potential failures, risk assessment and the planning of improvement actions. Particular emphasis is placed on the practical link between PFMEA and the process flow diagram, the Control Plan, APQP and special characteristics.
Why choose this training?
The training presents the practical principles of conducting PFMEA analysis in accordance with the AIAG & VDA FMEA Handbook, 1st Edition, June 2019. Participants learn the seven-step approach to process risk analysis, covering the analysis of structure, function, potential failures, risk assessment and the planning of improvement actions.
During the training, the principles of identifying effects, failure modes and causes, assessing the Severity, Occurrence and Detection factors, and determining Action Priority are discussed. Particular emphasis is placed on the practical link between PFMEA and the process flow diagram, the Control Plan, APQP and special characteristics.
What sets our approach apart?
At EITT we believe that the best learning happens through practice. During 2 days of intensive training, participants independently develop a PFMEA analysis for a sample process, learning the AIAG–VDA standard in action.
With over 2,500 trainings in our offer, EITT is a trusted partner in competency development for organizations of every size. Our trainers are practitioners with many years of experience in risk analysis in the automotive and manufacturing sectors.
