Essential technical skills include deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization technologies, networking, databases, operating systems, and automation and orchestration tools. Analytical competencies include the ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical architecture, systems modeling, risk assessment and cost optimization. Among soft competencies, communication skills (the ability to present complex technical concepts to business stakeholders), strategic thinking, problem-solving skills and technology leadership are key.
