Business Simulation “Royal Garden”
The “Royal Garden” business simulation stands out as a unique educational tool that brings Agile project management from the theoretical shelf straight to practical application. Through engaging scenarios, participants have the opportunity not only to explore Agile principles but, above all, to experience them in action in a dynamic, controlled environment. “Royal Garden” shows that the most effective learning happens through action, experimentation, and collaboration.
This simulation emphasizes the importance of agile methodologies in project management, offering participants the opportunity to practically apply knowledge in realistic project challenges. Participants learn how important cyclical processes of planning, execution, control, and retrospective are, and how crucial effective communication and team collaboration is. “Royal Garden” reveals how the diversity of roles and approaches to work affects team dynamics, while emphasizing the importance of finding balance between control and trust in project management.
This simulation is also an opportunity to discover how to effectively identify, analyze, and solve project problems, which is key to the success of any endeavor. Through active participation, participants experience how a group of strangers can quickly become a cohesive team, effectively collaborating toward common goals.
In summary, “Royal Garden” is more than a simulation; it is a comprehensive educational experience that not only strengthens participants’ project management and teamwork skills but also inspires them to seek new, innovative solutions in their daily work. It is an excellent example of how learning through practice can bring significant benefits to both participants and organizations striving for continuous development and improvement of their working methods.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Agile skills can participants practice during the Royal Garden simulation?
Participants practice core Agile competencies including sprint planning, iterative execution, retrospectives, and stakeholder communication. The simulation also develops skills in prioritization using MoSCoW methodology, team self-organization, and balancing control with trust in project management.
Is prior knowledge of Agile methodology required to participate?
No prior Agile knowledge is required. The simulation is designed to be accessible to beginners while still offering valuable insights for experienced practitioners. Participants learn through hands-on experience, and the facilitator guides them through the Agile concepts as the simulation progresses.
What did participants in the Krakow demo find most valuable?
Participants highlighted testing their Agile skills in a realistic scenario, learning new communication techniques, and discovering how a group of strangers can quickly form an effective team. Many also valued the visualization of team dynamics and the awareness of how professional roles influence attitudes and collaboration.
How does the Royal Garden simulation differ from a traditional Agile training course?
Unlike lecture-based training, the Royal Garden simulation immerses participants in a dynamic, scenario-driven experience where they apply Agile principles through action and experimentation. This experiential approach leads to deeper understanding and better knowledge retention compared to passive learning formats.
