Mindfulness, Decluttering and Regenerative Breaks — Daily Work Hygiene
A one-day training consolidating two complementary areas of daily remote work hygiene — mindfulness in the work environment and the order of space and mind (decluttering). The program combines mindfulness micro-practices, walking meditation, and a 15-minute mindful walk with methods of releasing excess belongings, organizing storage zones, and a daily routine of tidying the workstation. The training culminates in a practical "Show & Tell" format — participants present their workstations and inspire each other to change. The business outcome is lower stress and cortisol levels across the team, better focus during working hours, fewer mistakes caused by information chaos, reduced burnout, and in the long term — higher retention of employees for whom a calm environment and inner order have become a decisive factor of wellbeing.
Benefits
- After the training, the participant understands what mindfulness means in a professional context and can distinguish it from mindlessness
- After the training, the participant independently performs 5 mindfulness micro-practices and embeds them in their workday
- After the training, the participant runs a 15-minute mindful walk during a work break and regenerates through contact with nature
- After the training, the participant knows 3 decluttering methods (KonMari, 90/90, 12-12-12) and can apply them at home and in the office
- After the training, the participant has organized their workstation into a coherent system of storage zones and daily order routines
- After the training, the participant holds a plan for daily work hygiene combining mindfulness, order, and movement in a realistic dose
- After the training, the participant joins a 30-day post-training Challenge reinforcing the durability of acquired habits
- After the training, the participant brings to the organization concrete tools that lower stress and raise focus across the team
Who is this training for?

Training program
Module 1: Mindfulness in the Remote Work Environment — Foundation of Practice
- What mindfulness means in a professional context — definition based on Jon Kabat-Zinn's research and the MBSR program
- Mindfulness benefits confirmed in neuroscientific studies — changes in the prefrontal cortex, amygdala, and hippocampus
- Why remote work especially demands mindfulness practice — blurred boundaries, digital stimulus overload, isolation
- The meditation myth — it's not about 'switching thoughts off' but about changing the relationship with thoughts
- The witness stance — a key mindfulness competency and how to train it in daily work
- Mindfulness vs. mindlessness — diagnosis of which state we spend 80% of our workday in
Module 2: Mindfulness Micro-Practices and Walking Meditation (Breath, Standing Up, 5 Senses)
- Breath as a mindfulness anchor — 3 calming breath techniques (4-7-8, box breathing, diaphragmatic breath)
- Walking meditation — mindfully standing up from the desk, mindfully opening a door, mindfully reaching for a mug
- 5 senses practice — a quick 30-second exercise reducing distraction and returning you to the here and now
- 15-minute mindful walk — a protocol you can run during a lunch break or between meetings
- Mindfulness in nature — what contact with greenery, trees, and daylight changes for the nervous system
- Mindfulness anchors in the calendar — where to insert micro-practices so they become a habit, not a duty
- Practice with the trainer — a full session of 5 micro-practices with immediate feedback
Module 3: Decluttering — Methods of Releasing Excess Belongings and Attachment
- The psychology of accumulation — why we keep things we don't use and what the psychological cost is
- The KonMari method — categories instead of locations, the question 'does this spark joy', the order: clothes → books → papers → komono → sentimental
- The 90/90 method — if you haven't used something in the last 90 days and won't in the next 90 — it goes
- The 12-12-12 method — 12 things to discard, 12 to donate, 12 to return to their place
- Digital decluttering — desktop, inbox, phone, cloud drives
- Working with attachment — what to do with gifts from loved ones, mementos, and 'just-in-case' items
- Practice — participants pick one area (desk, drawer, folder) and run a live decluttering during the training
Module 4: Home Space and Workstation Organization — Zones, Routines, Flows
- The zones principle — 5 home zones supporting focus and regeneration (work, sleep, eating, relaxation, movement)
- Home workstation — functional minimalism, visual separation from the rest of the apartment, controlling the background in video calls
- Storage zones — what we keep 'in plain sight', in a drawer, in a box, in the basement
- Order routine — 5-minute workstation reset at the end of the workday, weekly 30-minute reset, quarterly audit
- Flows in space — how to arrange work tools to minimize movement and frustration
- Workstation 'Show & Tell' — participants present their workstations and inspire one another (with camera, optional)
Module 5: Integration — Daily Work Hygiene (Mindfulness + Order + 15-min Walk), Post-Training Challenge
- Map of daily work hygiene — where to insert mindfulness, order, and movement in a typical remote workday
- Individual weekly plan — which element to introduce in the first, second, and third week
- Day rituals — morning work-start ritual, midday regeneration ritual, evening day-closing ritual
- 30-day post-training Challenge — a daily micro-task to perform with a self-tracking system
- Progress indicators — how to monitor changes in stress levels, focus quality, and sense of control
- Mutual support — optional 'mindfulness pairs' within the organization to sustain the training effect
- Materials for further work — audio library of micro-practices, 30-day Challenge card, decluttering checklist
