On January 20th at EITT’s Warsaw headquarters, the RAVEN 13 simulation demo took place.
The meeting was led by Bartlomiej Madej - a trainer with 12 years of experience in areas including managerial competency development.
Participants included representatives from IT companies providing consulting and auditing services, building technology, telecommunications, and gaming solutions.
The simulation provided learning through experience, but also excellent fun and exchange of observations. Participants “transported” to an underwater station, where they created a well-functioning team saving humanity. The scenario and the way the simulation was conducted resulted in 100% participant engagement from the very beginning - emotions reached their peak. :-)
In the meeting summary, participants highlighted how business simulations can be a useful tool for developing soft competencies of project team members, including communication, cooperation, building trust, responding to change, teambuilding, assertiveness, and many others supporting effective project work.
Based on workshop experiences and participant feedback, we can say that simulations are definitely for those teams that want to increase their effectiveness, motivation, and shared responsibility for project success.
