On January 20, at the EITT headquarters in Warsaw, a demo of the RAVEN 13 simulation took place.
The meeting was led by Bartłomiej Madej - a trainer with 12 years of experience, including in the area of managerial competency development.
Participants were representatives of companies from the IT industry, providing consulting and auditing services, building technological, telecommunications, and gaming solutions.
The simulation provided learning through experience, but also excellent fun and exchange of insights. Participants “moved” to an underwater station, where they created an excellently functioning team saving humanity. The scenario and way of conducting the simulation resulted in 100% participant engagement from the very beginning - emotions reached their peak. :-)
In the meeting summary, participants noted how business simulations can be a useful tool for developing soft competencies of project team members, including communication, collaboration, building trust, responding to change, teambuilding, assertiveness, and many others supporting effective project work.
Based on workshop experiences and participant opinions, we can say that simulations are definitely for those teams that want to increase their effectiveness, motivation, and shared responsibility for project success.
